What you need to know about appliance service
Everyone likes their appliances when they are working the way they are designed to. But let's face it, nothing can be more frustrating than when your refrigerator decides to stop working, spoiling hundreds of dollars worth of fresh food. Whether it's a fridge, a washer or any other appliance that we rely upon daily to perform our chores, a broken appliance can be a real pain. Do you fix it or do you go buy a new one? How much will it cost? Even more importantly, who can I trust to come out and really fix it, and can I trust them to tell me when it's simply not worth fixing? This last point is very, very important because not all service providers are equal. It's important to get someone you can trust to come out and solve your problem.
Who are the people coming out to your home? Can you trust them?
There are over 60 appliance repair providers in southwestern PA. Some of these are independant contractors, some are part of a regional or national repair company. With all of these options it's sometimes hard to find the best choice for your specific needs. The problem with many of these repair people is that they only service a limited number of brands. Sure, if you have a GE or Whirlpool appliance you may not have too many problems getting it fixed, but what if your LG or Samsung appliance isn't working? Very few service techs are certified to work on more than a few brands. That also means they have limited access to the parts needed to fix them. Don's Appliances is a factory authorized service provider for over 25 brands and is the region's leading servicer of appliances including Samsung and LG. Not only can we fix it right the first time, we have easy access to the parts needed to complete the repairs. You should also feel comfortable and safe with Don's coming to your house. All of our service techs are carefully screened (background checks and drug testing).
"You'll be out in 2 weeks?!!" Not with Don's Appliances
One of the single biggest gripes we hear from customers is that it can take days, even weeks, before someone can come out to even look at the problem. Many independent retailers have only one repairman, some outsource to regional repair companies. Most of the big box stores rely on national service companies to handle their repair issues. The problem can be that the person coming out to your home may be good at fixing some of, but not all of your appliances. No one is a specialist in everything and sometimes getting the right person out to repair your appliances simply is overbooked. That means it could take weeks (yes weeks) before you get someone out to fix your problem. Not so with Don's Appliances. We have 20 service techs working 6 days a weeks to address your problems. We can even sometimes stop out the same day you make your call. Keep in mind, Don Hillebrand (Don himself) started his career as a Maytag repairman. We started our company with service as the centerpiece to our business. That dedication to our customer hasn't changed. When you need us, we'll be there.
Going the distance: Near or Far, we'll be there for you
