There is always some kind of appliance "trend" out there. Induction, Rose Gold Appliances, and Steam. The first thing people think of with a Steamer, is oh I bet vegetables turn out great in it. But the truth is, it does SO MUCH MORE THAN THAT. Sure, vegetables turn out great in it. They can hold and maintain their nutrients, unlike a microwave where they are taken out. But, what if I told you that you can make bacon, cheesecake and even poached eggs in it. Being in this position, customers tend to ask me what I would do if this was my kitchen. My answer has always been a built in Steam Oven. The next question is, which would I chose. This is where things got difficult. It's hard to decide. So, I sent out a survey to my coworkers to vote for their favorite brand.
JENNAIR - Number 1

WOLF - Number 2
Wolf is one of the higher end lines with its distinct red knobs and American made quality, it's a showstopper in any kitchen. They have quite the line up when it comes to choosing which Convenction Steamer is the right fit in your kitchen design. Each model has everything from a Gourmet mode with pre selected cooking options and even a delay mode. They are one of the bigger Steamers on the market as well with 1.8 cubic feet. THERMADOR - Number 3
For now, Thermador has a professional steamer that I feel I have sold a lot to match the rest of their lineup. They even have a 48" range that the Convection Steamer is incorporated into. It's the only one on the market! It gives customers the opportunity to benefit from the Convection Steamer and not lose any cabinetry. Come Fall 2018, Thermador is set to release their new line. I can't go into too many details, but let's just say Thermador really outdid themselves. Stay tuned for more information on the Thermador Convection Steamer. I PROMISE, it will be well worth the wait.
BOSCH - Number 4

It is one of the more price friendly options on the market for this design. Still offering a convection fan and steamer.

Sharp recently came out with something a little different than just a standard built in Convection Steamer, a countertop version! A smaller, sleeker design, perfect for anyone who wants the benefits of Convection Steam. The unit is 1.1 cubic feet and still includes the water reservoir. Don't let the size fool you, you can still fit a 12" pizza and up to 9 pieces of toast in this, according to their website.
