About DesignFive

DesignFive is a family-owned, full-service interior design firm located in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. We have been working with residential clients in Pittsburgh and the surrounding areas for the last decade. With design experience in new home construction, single-room renovations, complete home remodels, and color consultations, DesignFive has a breadth of skill and knowledge qualified to tackle any home design project. Our company takes its name from the five sons of our owner, Steve Shorthouse, and represents the family roots and connections in our firm. Our mission is to make the process of home renovation and interior design not only collaborative but also enjoyable and exciting for our clients.
