    The BEST Buffalo Chicken Dip EVER | Sous Vide Buffalo Chicken Sandwich

    This recipe will show you an alternative to making buffalo chicken dip that isn’t in a crock pot. We’ll be using the LG Signature 48" Pro Style Dual Range Stainless Steel sous vide system, and of course this isn’t just any old dip; we’re making a sandwich out of this.

    Here is the magic in all of this: we are just going to add all of our ingredients right into the bag. Add 1 pound of thin sliced chicken breast into our vacuum sealed bag. Then 6 ounces of cream cheese. A stick of butter goes in as well. For the seasoning add 1 tablespoon of Montreal steak seasoning. Of course, 1 cup of shredded cheddar and mozzarella cheese.

    The star of the show here: add a half a cup of buffalo sauce. This is optional but we add two tablespoon of ranch as well. Once everything is added you’ll want to shake your bag up so that way everything is mixed in there. Then just vacuum seal this and it’s ready for the sous vide.

    Set your temperature for the sous vide system to 165 degrees, and this will take roughly an hour. Or if you’re me, it might take 4 hours; But that’s the beauty of sous vide. The longer it’s in there it only will build those flavors. It locks in that moisture, without taking away from the final product.

    After cutting open the bag I’ll put this directly into a mixing bowl. If you want a creamier dip, you could use a mixer or a blender to blend this all together. Since we’re going to build a sandwich, we chose to leave bigger chunks of chicken.

    You can easily shred this all together with a fork. If you leave it chunkier like we did, you can also put this on top of pizza, or salad, or even just serve it as an appetizer. The possibilities are endless.

    If you realize you want this cheesier, or hotter, you can also add more of the ingredients to your liking. Now we build these beautiful buffalo chicken sandwiches. We use bigger chunks of chicken as a base. And, of course, throw some more cheese on top of this.

    This is optional of course, but you can also add some candied bacon on top. It’ll bring out the salty flavors, while adding a punch of sweetness. If you wanted this sandwich a bit spicier, I would recommend spreading spicy cream cheese on your buns for that extra heat.     Ingredients:

    • 1 lb of thin sliced chicken breast
    • A half a cup of buffalo sauce
    • Two tablespoons of ranch
    • Quarter cup of shredded cheddar and mozzarella cheese
    • 6 oz cream cheese
    • 1 stick of butter Tablespoon
    • Montreal steak seasoning

    Optional:

    • Candied bacon
    • Spicy spread
    • Brioche buns

    Method:

    1. Add all ingredients into a vacuum seal bag
    2. Seal bag, and place in sous vide for 1 - 4 hours at 165 degrees
    3. Build a sandwich, or serve as a dip
