Quick & Easy Pizza in Your Gozney Dome
Want fast and tasty pizza? The Gozney Dome 29” Bone Outdoor Oven can cook your pizza in just a minute. In this recipe we are going to demonstrate just how fast the Gozney Dome can give you a fire roasted pizza pie. You’ll want to get the inside of the oven to about 800 degrees. We fired the wood on the right side, and since the dome is dual flame, we have the option to cook on all sides. Adding the wood will result in a more smokey flavor in our pizza.
We weren’t exaggerating when we said this would take a minute. You’ll start to see the edges of the dough popping, and this is an indicator that it’s time to rotate your pizza. For that char on all sides, you’ll just want to quarter turn this.
Chef’s Tip: Typically, this takes about 3 turns. This could vary of course depending on how big your pizza is, and how thick your dough is.
After 3 turns, I’ll place this in at an angle on the pizza peel to brown the cheese on top.
