How to Make Sure Your Appliances Will Fit With Countertops and Cabinets

So you want to replace your 35 year old wall oven or your cooktop that’s 50 years old? We can definitely help you with that and we have the skilled installers who can make your new appliances look like they have been there for years!

Ideally, the first you need to do is attempt to locate a model number of your old appliance. You can find a model tag underneath a cooktop and usually around the doors or on the inside of a wall oven. If you cannot locate one, we can set up a measure job and we can have one of our installers come out and take accurate dimensions of your space (for a small fee and if you purchase your new appliance from Don’s Appliance’s, we will credit that charge back to you). We just want to make sure we are getting you an appliance that will fit versus you having to redesign your space around a cooktop or wall oven.

Once the measurements have been collected, we will determine what will fit the best in your space. We can go over your options and make sure you are getting what you want out of your new appliance.

If you need any cabinet modifications done or the cooktop space needs to be altered, we have a few specialists on staff that can help! Our trained installers can turn your 30 year old wall oven cabinet to accommodate most wall ovens.

I recently had a customer who needed to replace her Chambers Range top that has been discontinued for quite some time (maybe around 40 years old). We were able to get a countertop made based on the specifications given to the stainless steel fabricator. This is just one thing we can get custom made for our customers. We can do fillers, custom microwave trim kits and we can typically color match most cabinet stains.

We definitely have options for you and look forward in helping you get your measure job set up and discussing your options when you are ready to replace your 30-50 year old appliances!
