Cleaning issue

I bought this refrigerator in January of 2025.It has been functioning well.I like the Ice maker as far as cube shape and size and the capacity of the ice tray.Yesterday my wife went to clean the shelf that is directly above the vegetable drawer.The glass that makes the shelf is not removable and there is liquid between the glass and the plastic frame .Very poor design .The whole lower shelving system will have to be removed and I will have to try to spray it off outside and hope it will be clean , one thing is for sure it will not be as clean as I would like it .

Defective door bins!

For no reason at all, the door bins are all cracked in less than 2 years. First, a small Crack appears in a bin, then it slowly gets bigger and falls apart. Beware!

Not even fingerprint-less for the $$$$$$

If I could return it, I would. For this amount of money and no printless material choice except stainless steel, is maddening!! S.S. was soooo 2016!! Bottom deep freeze freezer divider is a nightmare to remove. The sliding storage freezer drawer that sits on top of the deep drawer is horribly clunky to open. It does not glide smoothly. If you want to extend it out you have to pull it up & forward hopefully keeping it on the track.

Worst dispenser mechanism

I wish I could do zero stars. The water dispenser is defective and they won’t return refrigerator. Water marks down front from constant water that won’t shut off.

Positive Features

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My previous refrigerator no longer worked(different vendor) all my appliances in the house are LG which is always dependable so I definitely had a goal to make my refrigerator a LG! This particular one meets my needs, roomy, ice maker in the draw? The bottom 2 drawers have plenty of room and the water on the door is cold and easy to dispense for big cups very quiet Very Happy with purchase and know I can depend on dependability for years to come with LG

Good for my needs

I have a very tight space and the LG LFDS22520S fits perfectly. Likes: ice cubes, water and temp in door.

Great so far

Excellent refrigerator so far.Only complaint is tat the huge ice tray takes up too much freezer space. 4.5 stars

Works great

Works great. Front is not magnetic. Has lots of space. I'm not a fan of the French doors though

DO NOT BUY LG

DO NOT BUY LG REFRIGERATOR. Compressor breaks after about 4 years.

Spacious and space saving

Bought this unit to replace a 33 inch wide side by side, this LG is roomier inside while being only 30 inches wide. Temperatures in both refrigerator and freezer are accurate and hold within 2 degrees. I love the flexibility with shelves and drawers. The only minor issue is if you collect magnets on your refrigerator they won't stick to the front doors of this unit, I attached some thin sheets of a magnetic grade of stainless with 3M double sided tape to take care of that. I am extremely happy with this LG product overall.

Compressor Died quickly
