Great to cook on a gas range

Bad keypad

I have had this range for 6 years and now have to replace the “mother board” ( under the key pad) for a second time.the first time my daughter washed the top and it would nolonger let you pres the 3 to set the temp. This time I took the lid off of a pan and it dripped on the key pan as I was setting it down and now the oven no longer heats up past 250.

Very disappointing range for the $$

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Wow, what a disappointment this range has been….the time it takes for it to pre-heat is just unacceptable (30 minutes to get to 375 - 400 degrees). I have tried using the convection oven feature to create a quicker pre heat - it only pre heats to 325 degrees… The stove top is not stainless steel either - it is an alloy which has already become stained by a slight splash of something that was cooked on top. I have a cheaper 5 year old LG electric range that does a much better job than this. It is hard to believe that Kitchen Aid would put out such an overpriced and low functioning stove top range. I would return it if I could for a full refund.

As great range

(This review was collected as part of a promotion.) Very pleased overall. One issue though- the warming oven even at its lowest temperature of 145 is too hot to warm plates. Minimum should be reduced.

Great Range

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I purchased this range for a replacement of a built in JennAir that was nothing but trouble. I have used this range for at least a month and love all the features. Still learning. I wanted a convection oven because I am a baker especially using it for bread. It has a steam feature that is okay but does not provide enough steam so I have to add more when baking baguettes or sourdough boules. But, it is a wonderful piece of equipment that works hard and performs well especially for the price.

Great range

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this range a month ago, this machine is amazing, it has changed how I cook. The one thing I didn’t know I needed is the proof feature, it makes all the difference in making pizza dough. The only regret is I didn’t get it sooner. The only reason I didn’t give it 5 stars is nothing is ever perfect
