Beautiful, heavy duty
I love this cooktop. It can scratch easily though since it's stainless steel.

Poorly Designed Product
I am very disappointed in the quality of this product. In particular, the quality of the knobs is very poor. A pan was pulled off the stove over the knobs and because of the poor quality, the fake metal peeled back on two of the knobs and scratched two other knobs. The surface scratches easily. Love the Grates
Have a done a few cooks since we've installed it and its been great. I like the lights underneath the knobs vs. within the knobs as you know for sure which ones are on. Grate pattern is great and easy to clean.

Not recommended
Scratches very easily. Even with a soft microfiber cloth, any small food particles scratches. The knobs melted and are made of cheap plastic. It stains very easily and hard to take out the stains.

Poor stainless steel quality.
The stainless steel for this stove top model scratches easily. I’ve only used a soft cloth to wipe down and clean the stove top but if there is food residue from cooking, it can scratch the stainless steel. It is very low quality material and do not recommend purchasing.

Great features and design.
Great design and layout of cooktop. I updated an older version of the Profile cooktop to the newer and could not be more impressed. The lighted knobs allow for quick determination if the burner is still on, the higher grate allow for faster heating both under and around the pot/pan and the move of the Rapid Boil burner to center to allow for larger pots more easily was a smart design move.

Excellent cooktop
Very nice layout. All burners work well on low and high.easy to clean. The grates are not to heavy compared to other manufacturers

Great features!
Really like my new gas stove top! Works great and heats up quickly! Enjoy the fast boil burners for like making tea or boiling water for pasta, etc.

Undecided
Replaced old GE cooktop with this model. This looks nice. Like the burners and the placement. Now that I am using it I see the negatives. The grates are very heavy. Difficult to lift and clean them. Not recommended for seniors. Grates are very high from flame. They should have a lower space. The grates have gaps in between and some of my smaller pans tilt over.

Replacing an older GE Profile
We had to remodel our kitchen due to a leak in the wall. Our first GE Profile was still working fine after twenty two years. However, if I needed them, parts were no longer available, so we opted to go I the current 5 burner Profile and we love it right down to the lit dials.! It looks modern and the burners are set up in a very nice order with two power boil burners that I have used simultaneously on a few occasions. Really glad we made the decision to go with another GE Profile range top.

Looks Great!
Looks great. Just installed a day ago so one use so far. Worked perfectly as you would expect. Really like the backlight on the dials...extra safety. Will revisit review after more rigorous use.
