Can you make cinnamon rolls in your steam oven? We are going to put this to test using the convection bake setting on our JennAir RISE 23.44” Stainless Steel Electric Built In Single Steam Oven.
Why would you want convection in your steam oven? Convection will send air all around the inside of your oven which will evenly distribute heat onto whatever it is that you’re cooking or baking. This means an even cook or bake from edge to edge. The steam will then add the moisture back into whatever it is that you’re making.
The steam oven will only go up to 212 degrees on just steam, but with the convection and steam option you’ll be able to raise this to 400 degrees. This combination will brown your food but retain all the moisture. You could easily make chicken or even salmon in here.
We tried out cinnamon rolls in this steam oven with the steam and convection bake option. We baked them at 375 degrees, and they turned out light and fluffy, yet moist on the inside.
This is a great bake for a few minutes in your convection steam of it. These are the results you get with regular baking. We used normal pop top cinnamon rolls, and we got an extraordinary product and a finished end result. You can do shrimp and grits. We could really make any protein of nice pork loin, a good side steak. Think about anything you want to cook on your stove or bake: This will save you the fear of losing moisture in your dishes from other cooking methods.
