For Grilling Enthusiasts Like Bill... Introducing Napoleon Grills!

    by Bill Vighetti

Many backyard BBQ enthusiasts have been loving the Napoleon natural gas grill since 1976. Napoleon rivals the competition with many different, unique features setting them apart from the rest. Personally, I love salmon, with the sear burner located on the left side of the grill, I can now cook my salmon separate from the rest of the food allowing me to not take away space from the spacious 30 burger main rack or the upper tier baking/warming rack.

Another one of my favorite things to cook is a juicy steak. To master the sear burner, simply lift the lid on the side burner and ignite the burner. You can rest easy when you turn your grill on as it as spark ignition (battery operated) and the knobs change color from Blue to Red to let you know which burners are in the on position. Wait for one minute for the burner to warm up and place the thick juicy steak on the grids. Once 2 -3 minutes have passed by, flip the steak with tongs but remember to not use a fork! This will pierce the steak and will let out many of juices the infrared has locked in. Wait another 2-3 minutes and turn off the red backlight knob. Letting the steak rest for 1 minute to help it stop cooking, I usually love to prepare biscuits and green beans to go with my meal. Finally, my favorite time, digging in ready to eat!

If your backyard is anything like mine…you will appreciate the ability to move the grill easily across the driveway with the aid of the wheels. This grill has the versatility to go from 0 to 1800 degrees in 30 seconds. They even have locks so once the grill is in position, you can lock the wheels to prevent accidental moving.

For the true grill enthusiast, you can also purchase a charcoal tray…simply load up the tray with charcoal and turn on the gas to get the charcoal ready (one layer for burgers, or steaks and two layers for chicken or roasts). After the charcoal is glowing red turn off the gas burner and allows the coals to burn until all of the coals are white on the surface. With a long-handled instrument, spread out the coals evenly across the tray. You can easily add a smoker tube if you want to add mesquite flavor. Smoke the meat for several hours under a closed lid. When your meats are done, simply clean out the charcoal tray, allowing you to be ready for the next time you grill in minutes.

Did I mention this grill has incredible capacity! Easy-open grill cover with Temperature indicator that lets you know if the grill is just right (250 for warming an apple pie). You simply place the pie on the center burner and turn on the outside burners for indirect heat. Soon you will smell the sweetness of apple pie with a hint of cinnamon. At the same time, you can warm some Nathans all Beef hotdogs wrapped in biscuit dough. They bake up just as if you were baking in your oven. No need to add condiments! With the flavor of the grill, they are perfect as is!

Something that sets Napoleon apart from the others is their warranty. They offer a lifetime guarantee on the stainless steel grill cover and stainless steel wave-shaped grates and the stainless steel tube burners are covered for 15 years! With the Napoleon grill, you will never want to cook indoors ever again!
