Don's Appliances offers the following types of refrigerators:
1. Full size, stands proud about 4-6 “from the standard 24" base cabinet/25" countertop.
2. Counter Depth (stands proud the thickness of the door and handle).
3. Under Counter (which enables customers to have additional storage for fresh food).
4. Specialty: Wine/Beverage/Ice machines and compact refrigerators (even allow for unit for makeup in the bathroom.
5. Built-in: Helps integrate large and small units know as towers into your kitchen that seamlessly allows you to store everything that your home requires.
Full Size Refrigerators
Full size refrigerators range in price from $999-3,499 on average and allow customers to have larger fresh food areas and large freezers at the lowest price possible. They come in French door (which has two doors on top and a freezer drawer), single door both in top mount and bottom mount, side by side, and four door by Samsung which has four sections. The lower right section can be converted in 8 minutes from a freezer to a refrigerator (or vice versa).
Counter Depth Refrigerators
Counter depth refrigerators offer a cost savings over the built-in and range in price from $2,400-4,999. They offer a variety of French door with water, water/ice, water ice/crushed ice on the exterior door. Most will fit in either a 33" wide or the more traditional 36" wide space. Normal height is 70” but they can go as high as 72" allowing for more cubic feet of interior space.
Under Counter Refrigerators
Under counter refrigerators are far superior to free standing refrigerators since they do not require side space, and breath through the toe kick (as they use static condenser). They are quieter and maintain temperature more consistently than the free standing under counter units. Marvel, True, Subzero, and JennAir are a few of the leading manufacturers of the under counter units. Several of these spacious units come in 24", 27" or 30" and a few are offered as drawer units in either panel ready or stainless steel. New features are LED lights that stand the test of time, self-closing drawer or doors, and some such as True offer a three year full warranty on parts and labor and can be used indoors or outdoors.
Specialty Refrigerators
Specialty refrigerators can help keep both wine and beverages at ideal temperatures and offer compressors that are mounted on rubber grommets. They also offer glide out shelves to prevent vibration of the wine bottles. Low E argon filled glass doors help with long term storage of wine and beer. True offers great temperature recovery in their units and are designed to last 20 years.
Built-in Refrigerators
When you invest in a built-in such as Sub Zero, Jennair. or Thermador, you build-in your dream refrigerator/wine/freezer into your kitchen cabinets. It never needs to be moved for cleaning or most service as the units compressors can be accessed from the front. Sub Zero has a pure-air filter that cleans the air in the fresh food section every 20 minutes to help absorb ethylene gases and help keep food fresh longer. Thermador has door bins that can make it easier to find grapes/or other items as they can be stored in the door. JennAir helps the food last longer with +- 1 degree swing in temperature and has the new obsidian interior that helps customer see the true colors of the food within. Built-in refrigerators can be paneled to match your kitchen and you can even install custom handles.
