Why are my groceries in my fridge freezing towards the back?
It's because they're packing items right where the cold air is coming into the refrigerator. This is a great example of things possibly freezing. What you want to do is you want to move these items away from the ports that air comes in, in even as you look, just pull your items back away a little bit. Move your produce or beverages away from the back of the fridge just a little bit, and this should eliminate this issue.
Why is there frost build up in the fridge and/or freezer?
The fridge or freezer door is not being correctly sealed tight when closing. Something could be blocking the door from closing completely, so check on your doors in or in your freezer drawer that there’s no packages or products that may be preventing the doors from closing properly. When the warm air from not closing your fridge or freezer properly hits your groceries, this creates frost. A slightly ajar door can still let warm air in. Make sure everything is correctly closed and sealed. On some newer models of fridges and freezers they even have a sensor which will ding letting you know that a door is not closed.
Why is my ice maker not making ice at all?
Most ice makers have on and off buttons or switches. Make sure your ice maker is on, and not switched to off. This could be a digital display where you select on or off, or it could be a switch on your ice maker on the inside of your freezer that you will have to flick. Certain types of ice makers also have a wire arm. This is more common in traditional ice makers. If this wire arm is ¾ of the way frozen your ice maker will stop making ice. It could also be out of place. Make sure to check that the wire arm is pointed down into your ice maker.
